Over a forty-plus-year climbing career, Rick Kollath has ticked a number of North American and European classics. His ascents include big wall routes on El Capitan, Half Dome and Leaning Tower in Yosemite, the Furggen Ridge of the Matterhorn, the Frendo Spur on the Aiguille du Midi and the North Face of the Petit Dru near Chamonix. And, yes, most recently, Switzerland’s Eigerwand—a lifelong dream. Rick works as an illustrator and graphic designer in Duluth, Minnesota, in the United States.
